Salmon Season In Jeopardy. Will Gordon Smith Finally Fess Up?
Oregon’s salmon season – a vital source of income for Oregon’s economy – may be dead for 2008.
It was only six years ago that Gordon Smith coordinated with the White House to divert the water that destroyed coastal fishing economies.
He even ran TV ads about his coordination.
Their campaign maneuver resulted in the biggest fish kill in memory.
Now that the salmon industry is on the edge of collapse, will Smith finally take this opportunity to accept some responsibility for the massive fish kill that destroyed coastal economies?
Or will he tell more fishing stories to Oregon newspapers that editors and even his allies say are full of holes?
